taxic gnosis resides in the hoary gaps of freedom. with wounded precision, grein presses on the liminal tensions between organization and the dark scattering of waves that substantiate being. the roots of the world vibrate while old winds and strings are knotted into sinuous vines, like the heart cords of Silenus, drunk on the sound of absence. field recordings blend with an electronic breath, a halted inhalation, hand pressed on chest, as though falling towards the sea. i find myself watched in the listening, dragging pins through slate caverns, echoing with the anxiety of being. taxic gnosis is the sense of the almost formed into the string of time, a memory of what could never quite be.
